I spent a good part of this morning shoveling the many inches of snow in the driveway, enough of the patio for Maeve to walk on, and 2/3 of the side sidewalk (then I said, fuck the front sidewalk! no one uses it anyway!). So then I was tired and really smelly so I have been having a lovely day in. I hate snow. It's all, "Look at me! I'm so pristine

I don't know if you know this about me but... I really like to eat. A LOT. I would rather be chubby and eating cupcakes than skinny and rubbing my face on empty cupcake tins. Fooooood.

I think I want to move to Portland because there are so many vegan restaurants and a vegan grocery shop and stuff and I know that YOU lived in Portland, so what were your thoughts on it? Was that where you were unemployed for 6 months? Am I going to be unemployed for 6 months? Will you go and pick out an apartment for me? Maybe you can pick me up some roommates and stuff while you are doing that, but no pressure.

portland! I definitely think it's a good place to live if you're vegan since so many people are there! I was unemployed for about 4 or 5 months there but seriously, it was okay! Lots of kids get food stamps and if not that, there's always dumpster diving which is TOTALLY fun and accessible there! We used to go to Trader Joes and get SOOO MUCH FOOD. look! have I shown you this journal entry before

Free food! I have big dreams of working at Food Fight Grocery. And someday being good enough at cooking to get a job at a vegan shop. My bad skills will wow them so much that they will ignore that I actually have no "real" experience, outside of my kitchen
