It is supposed to get up to 52 degrees tomorrow! Holy crap! After that, it will get a little colder but still! I can feel spring grabbing at my wrists and pulling me outside for picnics and tumbling down hills

I usually only work Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12-9, but this week I am also working today (Sunday!) until 5, Monday from 6-9 (although most of that is doing programming), and Friday from 1-5. But then the week after that, I won't be at the library at all. Or, you know, we could actually meet somewhere that is not the library (crazy!).
oh! if your typewriter ribbon has dried up, just use a sharpie or some sort of marker on it and that should make it work for a little while. I'm pretty sure you can still buy ribbon at office stores..i think anyway..if not, ebay! I'll get more information for you from my amazing typewriter friend <3
The ribbon actually still works (although is kind of faint), which is amazing considering how old it is. I ordered two new ribbons online because my dad thought they might be harder to find because they are side-loaders.
I need to take a picture of my typewriter and show it to you! I'm pretty sure my grandma bought it for my dad when he went to college. It is brown like chocolate pudding. Or poop! And it is ridiculously loud (it's electric, like yours, yeah?) so I think I will only be able to type when people are not sleeping. I am excited! My first zine will be a Mandy Melson fanzine, hah.
Today at work I read a book on zines and they mentioned that Doris is pretty much the ultimate zine written by a woman. YES.
