The tattoo artist told her that she must smoke a lot of pot because she was bleeding so much.
This is probably an insanely ignorant question, but what is the correlation between pot smoking and bleeding-when-getting-a-tattoo?

I guess if pot works like a blood thinner then it would make someone bleed more when they were getting tattooed BUT I don't know if it's a blood thinner at all! Tattoo websites say not to take ibuprofen before getting tattooed (because it thins the blood), but they don't say anything about smoking pot so I figure it is just something that the tattoo artist thought but hadn't researched.
