I love the way he told him to read his mail. There's something so sad and endearing about him writing long letters to former servants, he's incredibly lonely under his fierce pride. Gerulf really needs to sneak him out of there ;)

I did wonder at Mihai's reaction to the name of Gerulf's mentor, is that his real father?

No smut this time but the wary dynamic between them is good :)

It's nice to know people are reading so much into this :) I'm not going to say who Mihai's father is yet, but there have been several different guesses and some people have been closer than others, that's as much as I'm saying for now.
