You've still got me curious as to all the castle secrets and plotting. Refreshing because with so many stories the end scene is predictable, but with this there's plenty of theories but nothing that feels foregone.

I kind of miss the dancing around each other. Gerulf and Mihai feeling their way was so nice (and often hot!) I liked watching things develop.

The old man is interesting. TEASE!

And aww Gerulf in love. He comes across so strong/capable, it was nice to see the burst of emotion and how his friends saw it before he acknowledged it himself.

Not that I don’t want to read the continuation a.s.a.p., but I must say patience always pays up with this story. And it never fails to make my day a bit happier when I see an update, so I'm certainly staying with it to the end, no matter how long the wait

I'm really pleased you enjoyed it. Writing about Gerulf's friends makes me happy :)
And I can't wait to do the big reveal. I'm hoping that after I have done so, people will let me know what their theories were.
There will be some more romance, as I plan to do a nice finale chapter, off in the future some time, after it's all over, and that will be all lovely and soppy.

I would say there are about 8 chapters of the story left, though this may go up or down depending on how much I end up fleshing out certain scenes. Then there will be an epilogue or two as well. My goal is to get the whole thing finished by this Christmas, though I don't know if I'll make it.

I can't believe I didn't say this already but the suspence it starting to kill me. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to rush a good thing, but trying to keeping from commenting about where this is headed with all the good bits you're dropping is so hard.

Loved the chapter, but I'm kind of missing Lady Adara and Miss Tynne. With Gerulf off finalizing his emergency plans, I can't help but wonder what those two have been putting into the works since Gerulf last spoke to Lady Adara. :)
