I'm sorry you had to meet such an A-hole. While old people in Nepal generally aren't that accepting of homosexuality either,they're slowly starting to understand that it isn't an abnormality to love someone of your own gender. We've become the most supportive Asian country when it comes to homosexuality but I still think think we've got a long way to go before we can proudly say that homosexuality is not taboo here. I'm glad Britain's changed too and that Turing was given a pardon, but it's such a shame that he couldn't have been saved. You're right when you say too little too late.

I think that we're probably never going to get to a place where everyone is accepted by everyone - too many people just love to hate somebody - but I firmly believe that a tolerant society is stronger and more productive and happy than a divided one.
Blue Prince soon (though there'll be a cliffhanger!)
