wow...thanks for sharing and writing such a wonderful story.

I find the ending to be wholesome and I'm very happy how things turned out - nothing was left out! I'm glad that they all got happy endings (I'm a sucker for happy endings)..even Goldie got a handsome...um...male goose to make her happy...

I'm happy Mr. Golightly got what he deserved...but the man in the green suit at the end seemed so sad...but at least he was able to bring others happiness!

Thanks, I love writing happy endings. The Man in Green has a bit of back story to him that I think is going to come out in future stories. I'll see how he develops...

That was wonderful! I really love the way you put hard, sad realism into the fairytale but still kept it, well, fairytail-ish with a wonderful happy ending. I especially like the idea that Jack's mum also got together with the nice doc.

Aaand... I love the wizard in green - or whatever he is. I hope he'll return in another story or maybe even get his own. That sad smile at the end suggests he's rather lonely himself...

Thanks for sharing the story! ^^

I'm glad you like the sad bits, it was tricky to write as I'm a sucker for happy characters, but I've read too many fics where somebody's a prostitute and they have a laugh riot and sleep with hot people all the time...I was sick of it. Hence, Jack.

Cute kitten pic!

Thank you so much for this story. I stayed up reading it and put off writing my own because it was too good to alt tab away from!

I loved each character and it really felt like a fairytale for grown ups. All the small things as a kid that I enjoyed about them - the fear, the angst, the small joys, the feeling of satisfaction and, finally, the elation - came back in a rush.

You're a truly gifted writer and even the silliness at times was so incredibly perfect that I wanted to reach through the computer and hug you!

Thank you again.

Aw, thank you so much. I'm really pleased you got so much out of it. I'm hoping to write a lot more of these, so I'll try and keep the style going in the others.

I think the silliness is actually one of my favourite bits to write, but I'm not very funny so thankfully I have room to write the rest of the story too :s

This is such a heartwarming read. I love how you turned the Jack and the Beanstalk story into a slash and a very beautiful one at that. I feel for Jack's pain and eventually his longing for Finn. I love that Jack and his mother never aspired for what's beyond their reach, and got blessed for it.
