No, you're not crazy! You should always follow what "puts a fire in your belly!" But do visit the birthing center first and see how you like it firsthand and up close.
so i don't know if you can do this for that job, but someone once told me you should shadow or intern with someone who has the job you think you want. that way, you can see how you like it when you are actually doing it, and what it's like to do that on a daily basis. then if you like it, you know you're set! ahah if that doesn't make any sense don't blame me i'm sick!
ps it does sound like something that would fit in with your personality and interests though, although teaching does as well
Yeah I think you couldn't go wrong with either midwife or teaching. I would just research and talk to people that are midwives and see what the job consists of and just figure out what you'd like to do. Maybe you can do both? like maybe you could be a teacher then be a midwife later on in life or vice versa. I see a bright future for you regardless of the path. Good luck girl!
