Wednesday Is Book Post Day

I've been wanting to do this one for a while. It's another milestone in a year full of them (both good and bad--this one, needless to say, is goooood): after years of being unable to read as well as write fiction, both logjams finally broke. I can write again! I can read again ( Read more... )

Thank you. I hope so. I feel as if I've been lost in the desert, and have just finally found my way to the oasis.

I have a question about Kickstarter projects. Provided you have met your goal on time... can additional money be pledged after the end date or does it close on that date?
The reason I ask is that I plan to pledge to meet your goal but if I find myself with extra cash in the new year I'd happily add more to bring the total up so we can get more novellas!

It does close on the date. But, if you brought the total up, I don't think there's a rule that would prevent me from offering backers a "stretch beyond stretch goal." I think they would be happy campers.

The key is to make sure it funds to start with--then there's room to play.

Thank you so much. That's a huge vote of confidence.

Thank you! I admit to dragonlike cackles of glee about getting to read your Stranger sequels justaboutfirst.

Thank YOU, because one reason I've been a bit soft-spoken is so Rosie can gallop to her finish. Leapfrogging happy dances!

Oh, Judy, that's insanely kind of you. I will *absolutely* be beating the Horses drum when Rosie winds up.

God I've got good friends. OH! That reminds me I have to email you about agents! *runs to do that*!
