Today was Ro's followup with Dr. EyeVet. His cornea has cleared up considerably and his eye looks like an eye again, which indicates that the meds are working. Oka needed eye drops for most of his life. He had pannus, an autoimmune disorder that if untreated leads to blindness. GSDs are particularly susceptible. But with suitable treats, he accepted the drops as part of his morning fun routine.
Dogs are amazingly adaptable if we give them the right support.
