Like a foreign exchange student?? COOL! Tell them I (some random stranger) said hi!! Unless that would scare them... Well, I know you're busy, welcoming him/her to England (the "land of Mums and car boots! The land of [my] language!" xD).
P.S. I had much fun lecturing my sister about the importance of Fat Tuesday, along with the various interesting titles. (I clucked when she asked me what a shrove was. I mean, jeez, who doesn't know what shrive means? ;]).
ANYway, I hope you have LOTSA fun with your new friend!!
She's now writing in her journal. It's rather annoying - she doesn't understand unless you say UN journal. Ah well.
She came to my ballet lesson last night and Singin' in the Rain, a competition group for tap, tonight. Tomorrow is my regular tap lesson and modern. She does jazz and modern, but we're skipping jazz - in fact, the entire Saturday - to go to Lake Windemere.
LOL for your sister! Tee hee. I had to look all that stuff up. I was like, "Shrove? Whaaaa?"
