I already thought they were a bit gay in the previous X-Men trilogy. Whether it has to do with the actors, or directorial intent or whatever, I don't know, but when I was watching those movies, I was like: Mystique is obviously Magneto's fag hag!

I need to rewatch the trilogy now XD it's been a while since I've watched them, and while I definitely remember tension between Magneto and Charles I don't quite remember if it was ~tension~
