GO WIFFLY. I'd smack him down so hard, only y'know, since I'm a 'woman' and 'from the other side of the world' and 'not White' I think he might write me off. Unless I omit things.
*applauds* That's gutsy and you sound very mature.
I don't get in to politics ever, but I don't really see why people make such a big deal over what goes on behind closed doors. Birth control is DEFINITELY a much-needed medication for some people very close to me (I know a few people with PCOS and before they got their birth control straightened out...Ick). For some one to say you shouldn't be able to get an essential medication...Ugh. Just UGH. I think there are definitely much more important things (ie: starvation, education, the economy...) to worry about than how a woman takes care of her body.
...Unrelated: I recently acquired a very nice gift card to a Japanese place near here. When you get off to school, and if you can make it to visit sometime, we can go out to feast...FOR FREE.
Hahaha, you'd never guess how old I am by that would you ;D But if they do and call me on it, what the hell. I have the mentality of a teenager and I've never (yet) studied government beyond the high school level. I could be a Fox correspondant!
I know, right? Not to sound all super-Feminist, but not only is it a behind-doors sort of thing, but it's a thing that guys just don't get, because there's really no equivalent for them, so I don't see why they should have a say in it at all.
FEASTING FOR FREE? I am so down for that. I think my college actually rents cars so once I get things figured out I can zip up, stay with my aunt, and we shall feast 8D
Free feasting indeed. It is quite a significant amount on said gift card.
Where abouts in Albany does your aunt live? I am actually in downtown Albany, not one of the other leetle bits of Albany (like Colonie or Latham or Guilderland or Altamont...)
