the first big weekend of the winter ended considerably less rock'n'roll than it started, star-gazing in hyndland rather than attending two gigs and heading to npl. ah well. it's all good fun.

in my opinion, the two films i've seen featuring joy division (24 hour party people and control) accurately portray peter "hooky" hook as the arrogant cunt he is. neither, however, have accurately captured just how repulsively ugly the man is.
