I'd remembered you'd read other books by her, even before you said. I don't remember my own books, at times, but I remember other people's *Laughs*

I'm sorry it turned out to be the least believable book of hers that you've read. It's definitely not my kind of book.

It’s not a bad book, honestly, but it was disappointing … mostly because of my higher expectations.
And, no, I doubt very much it would be your cup of tea.

That's really disappointing, that this book isn't up to the author's usual standards. Especially since you've like many of her other books. So have I, but this is a real drag as I just bought this on! 😱 But it's a rare writer who bats a thousand. Needless to say, this book is going to the bottom of the pile.

It’s not a bad book, honestly. I just was a little confused by the story structure & timing … and a lot skeptical of how things turned out at the end. I wouldn’t so much recommend against reading the book; I’d just recommend other pieces of the author’s work over this one, given the limits of time and money.
