Thanks. Around twenty years ago, there were challenges in the forums on the HP site, The Sugar Quill, and I still have a small folder of short stories I wrote for those challenges. I did a couple of Luna stories, which is probably why her name popped immediately into my mind when you mentioned crumple-horned snorkacks. 😂

Thanks. This is from 20+ years ago. The HP fandom was fun at the time, at least the more mature corners of it were. Back then, it was imaginative. Later, it was overrun by angsty Harry/Malfoy and Hermione/Malfoy stories. 🤷‍♀️
