1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Been laid off...twice. and collected unemployment
Had my heart broken.
Felt completely alone.

2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember if I made any resolutions last year...and I kind of made a big one earlier this year.
And if you are close to me, you already know what that was.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No. Except Amy is now an aunt....and she is close to me, so i guess with 2 degrees of separation, yes.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
no, I had enough of that last year.

5. What countries did you visit?
The United States. But I did visit the other coast twice.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
real happiness.

7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Feb 22.
yea, that's pretty much it.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
maybe surviving being laid off, broken up with and almost homeless, all within one month.
I also changed careers kind of...had to learn a completely new type of business.

9. What was your biggest failure?
losing the person I love.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
just depression....that's an illness.
and i did get a killer cold/sore throat/lost voice in the beginning of november.

11. What was the best thing someone bought you?
I guess the XM radio my parents got me for my birthday

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Definitely Robert and Brian and Amy...for being there for me through the awful awful times.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Not going to name names.

14. Where did most of your money go?
rent, car payments, clothes, bills

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
going to San Francisco and when I finally got a job

16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
Not sure

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? sadder
b) thinner or fatter? i think pretty much the same. maybe a little thinner
c) richer or poorer? richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
worked

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
being miserable

20. How do you plan to spend Christmas?
I spent it at my parents' house.

21. Did you fall in love in 2005?
i was in love.....then had my heart ripped out of my chest.

22. How many one night stands?
one. kind of. i guess. it's weird.

23. What was your favorite TV program?
ER. and I discovered Lost and Desperate Housewives.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
not really

25. What was the best book you read?
I re-read Angels and Demons when the Pope passed.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
XM Satellite Radio

27. What did you want and get?
I didn't get what I wanted.

28. What did you want and not get?
Chris back.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Star Wars Episode III
I also did like The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was pretty darn good.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 26. after getting laid off for the second time, i then headed up and spent the day with my family.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
still being with Chris

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
business/business casual

33. What kept you sane?
Robert, Brian and Amy. and cross stitch and Nick at Nite and TBS. and yahoo games. and Cupcake.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
who knows

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
i don't know

36. Who do you miss?
Chris and Michelle and Nana and Minna

37. Who was the best new person you met?
My twin. And some of the people I work with now. And CM.

Don't take your friendships for granted.
