The resources are very limited and very narrow in who they are directed towards. It is not surprising to think that many of the books have the same exact content as each other.

Limited resources? This is a simulation! And one this complex has to have the spare processing power for more books. Text takes up hardly any space at all, in comparison to rendering images or simulating personalities!
