[Action 1: Grocery Store]

[She is standing in front of one of the shelves. She has two things in her hand and she's looking from one to the other carefully. It's as if she's trying to make a life or death decision. In one hand there is muffin and in the other a honey role. The muffin seemed more interesting, but the honey role was closer to what ( Read more... )

Why didn't you just ask me?

[Because she thought she would be fine on her own, until it became obvious.]

I did not think it would be as difficult as it turned out to be.

Training is a lot harder without Shiro or Margery here. Who did you train with, I mean... initially?

I have trained with many different people in the past, but originally....

[So so long ago.]

It has always been easier to keep up skill rather than re work it.

[There's another woman at the other end of the row of shelves, also picking through cookbooks. Sometimes, sewing books or childcare books get mixed in...]

...what the hay?

[She pulls one off the shelf, flips through a few pages, and then turns disgustedly to the other woman.]

This is the same one that I've already taken out! It has the exact same things in it! This is crazy! I've had this happen three times already!

[She's a little surprised to be suddenly spoken to like that, but it's hard to tell.]

The resources are very limited and very narrow in who they are directed towards. It is not surprising to think that many of the books have the same exact content as each other.

[Dakki has a rant going, and an audience of one is still an audience, so she continues right along.]

Limited resources? This is a simulation! And one this complex has to have the spare processing power for more books. Text takes up hardly any space at all, in comparison to rendering images or simulating personalities!

[She's waving the book around, now.]

Ugh! I need something to cook that isn't a casserole!

Considering the simulation that is being given it is not unexpected. There is nothing real about this place or what it presents, it is as if we are in a doll house, the books are there fore show rather than use.

However....

[She would take what she could get.]

They at least are still somewhat useful to playing along with the charade presented.

[And Dawn was going to get some food as well!] Um... do you need any help?

[She looks up from the two choices then back to them for a moment. Whens he looks up again she sighs softly.]

I am trying to decide what a good replacement for Melon Bread would be.

Melon bread...? [Dawn is slightly curious about this!] Well, the muffin is really plain, if it's just a regular muffin, and not one of those that have fruit. But the honey role is really sweet!

[She stares at the honey role a bit longer and then nods.]

It is the better choice. Thank you for your input.

May I know your skill set and experiences?

I use a sword and lance. As for experience, I've been fighting in constant wars for over a century, leading my legion to victory against xenos and daemons alike.

I see.

[She seems to consider something for a moment before continuing.]

What are your thoughts on training with other individuals?

[ Well, Wilhelmina, were you expecting someone to just sidle up to you with a cart full of booze?

If not, well - Ambrosia is there and dressed rather... manly. ]

Why not get th' lass both? Ye know, have th' best of both worlds 'n all.

That would definitely be spoiling.

[She looks at the honey roll closer.]

Perhaps the cheaper one is the better choice.

There's nothin' wrong with doin' that once in a while. Tha' way, ye don't have t' decide.

Even so, it could become a bad habit. I will go with the simpler option in this case.
