so ty told me i needed to update or he'd punch me in the face
so seeing as he's sitting right next to me and i have my computer, ill update right now

school is over, thank god
smooth drive home
christmas was quite the event
we woke up at jen's house at 6:20 AM, much to my displeasure...but nothing i could do about it.
had fun opening presents in a half-awake state. Jen got me a mac power button icon t-shirt (it glows in the dark!) from thinkgeek, and her parents got me 2 other shirts, "RTFM" and "djork" mmmmm shirty goodness
had a real good nap after that...woke up and waited for some breakfast...then hung around as more family came over and then had a mid-day meal of feasent and potatoes. it was very good
we promptly moved along to my mother's house. we were a bit late, so we came in mid-present opening.
i got lots of clothes and towels, as i had needed. got a coldplay dvd from my little brother (eh, maybe it'll be interesting....maybe i can pawn it for something)
but the big story is that my older brother purchased our whole family new computers
he got my little brother a new sony vaio laptop. my mother and father new dell desktops, with keyboards/wireless mouse and widescreen LCD
he got me a mac G4 powerbook 15 inch laptop cause i had expressed interest in a laptop. i'm posting from it now using the wireless internet access (speaking of which...my mom got the family new FiOS fiber optic internet access from verizon...5 mbps internet access...NASTY FAST!)
we went to my dad's house afterward and he got his computer, he was speachless, as was i. he got me a car-fridge thing...i kinda already have one...but i dunno, maybe ill find a use for it.
margie got me a gift card to bestbuy...ill prolly use that towards a laptop bag for this bad boy
all in all, quite a day
today we woke up, did a little playing with toys, then went to secret santa with friends at amy's. i gave mick his STFU shirt from thinkgeek, many other gifts exchanged....ty and alec had an interesting staged sword fight using 69 cent vibrators they had concealed on their person. no one knew about it before hand...much vibrator fun occured afterward.
came back to my house to clean up and tool around with the laptop sommore.
i popped in equilibirium, and i swore i saw a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen. =-o =-o!!!
i even called them to talk about returning it/getting it fixed
but then when i looked again...it was gone.
ill keep an eye on it over the next few days.
we watched march of the penguins with mom, jen, alec, niki, ty, aaron and johanna (his gf)...it was neat to watch...gives a good insight into a world i never knew about...some of the scenes were a bit long.
now they're playing trivial persuit and eating apple pie (twice the pie, twice the fun...finding the circumference of a circle for the pi trifecta!!!)
anywho, thats that, i'm getting tired so i hope we can stay here tonight..i dont feel like driving this late, i'm tired.
