I might do a longer review later and tell you why I feel as I do, but for now I'm going to go against many, MANY of what my friends think and tell you that, in my opinion, the new Star Trek film

...I was going to post a review saying, essentially, "This wasn't really a Star Trek film, because it lacked a certain essential something... it didn't suck."

I really hated the last few Trek movies (and I was a very big fan back in 1990-1995 or or so), and I actually enjoyed this one, for all that it gleefully spat all over the canon--which, in a reboot, can be a good thing.
