another year has past, a new one is about to start

So I'm almost 20. A year ago, turning 20 seemed pretty scary, but now, not so much. In fact, I'm surprisingly excited about it. As I told Ann, I'm kind of done being a teenager. I totally agree. I finally feel like college is really starting and I feel comfortable and involved and I feel close with friends here. I can't wait to see you and I hope you have a great birthday!!

Hey Lena! I'm glad life is going well for you, and I totally understand the feelings you've been through/are going through with regard to study abroad. It'll be awesome, and I'm glad you have a travel buddy; for me, it was great knowing Heather when we came here and you'll definitely meet other people quickly because all the international students are going to be in the same boat as you are. You'll also eventually meet some people from the area (I've been trying to meet more Kiwis in my classes).
