I found this vid fascinating. It's so rare to see a spoken-word vid, and of course I have a fondness for them. *g* I love the idea of seeing this story and journey through Sibylla's eyes, because it seems like such an entirely male perspective in the source itself. This version is much more intriguing. I probably need to see it several more times to really sort through my impressions, but I enjoyed it.

Yes, the *only* edition IMHO. It was a vastly different film from the theatrical release, and an improvement, especially as it concerns Sibylla's character.

But it will be noted that there is no POV shift. I thought that might be . . . misleading but I didn't necessarily find a solution before the VVC deadline. So if that's unclear - my bad - thus why I stuck something in the notes about it. But it is Sibylla's POV the whole time. If Balian appears to speak it is only what Sibylla remembers/recounts, reporting back to the audience in a way. She tells her own story. This is not Balian's.

I'm sorry! I didn't mean to come off like you didn't understand. I just thought *I* had messed up as a vidder! Vidder thing.

They shouldn't have cut all they did from the theatrical version, because half of the plot doesn't even make sense, much less Sibylla.

I really liked this vid. I have a hard time really expressing the reasons I like vids. I love the way you structured it, and the emotional storyline, and the colours. I really liked the colours.

Thank you. I was worried that the coloring might be too extreme, actually, so it's good to know it worked so well for you.

Thanks again! :)
