Weeks before it premiered, IMDB had a major spoiler in the credits (the one you allude to). There's still a hint there, but it's not visible.

oh, I don't envy people new to the series and trying to stay spoiler-free. You think my alluding too obvious, should I scrap that?

No, I think you handled it fine. It's more of a book spoiler at this point, because we don't know if the TV series will follow suit.

Thank. I'm still hoping they'll follow the main plot points eventually (and the revelation at the end of last episode made me take a deep breath of relief) and obviously fans who come into contact with the story through the show will want to read the books, so it might even be a double spoiler for some :)

follow winbear's link - it's produced by ABC but it airs in syndication, so you've got to find your local network. I should've put that info in the main post, sorry! Don't cry, you can still catch it (and have a blast!)

Omg iTunes has it as a free view thing. Why internets?! *cry* This is something I should have at least heard an inkling about! I mean, I have been anxiously awaiting the Song of Ice and Fire HBO series. Why not this?!

*more cry*

yay, very cool vid - i especially love the slow/fast thing, it looks stunning.

(although that dress doesn't look very practical for fighting & slicing, *g*)

yay, thanks! *basks in the glow of the compliment*

(and who needs practical, when you can have billowing and swishing? The producers wisely put visual candy first. Richard didn't exactly need to take off his shirt to chop wood either:)

It's been a while since I read the books. Is his age mentioned this explicitly in the first book?

no, as far as I know, it isn't, but 23 is given as Richard's age in the tv show. New medium, new plotlines, new cannon I guess.

Awesome video hon! Great fast editing - I really loved the cutting between Richard staring at his sword and Kahlan looking incredulously at Zedd "Him?"

Bwhaha! Lovely split send flashes there between the Richard lusting too w/ the mountain top promo scene.

and rowwwrr right back at your icon!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the intercutting there - I just started using that technique on a larger scale. And that shot of the sword drives home for me just how much phallic imagery that show has in mere 2 hours... Not that I'm complaining of course.
And speaking about bunched breaches and lusting, I'm lusting for a HQ version of that mountaintop promo clip... Or anything similar in the show proper, so I can get to making a seriously sappy shippery Richard/Kahlan vid. *crosses fingers and hopes for more juicy footage in 'Listener'*

Oh my god - TELL me about it! I was psyched when they gave us the "Richard stabs the mountain shot" in HD last week, but they had BETTER give us that forehead kiss clip in HD also so that I can cap it for artists to go wild w/ fabulous artwork!

Phallic imagery - LOL and I'm usually really good at catching that stuff but that's escaped me as of now. I think I've been too distracted by staring at Craig and enjoying the action to notice :)~

PS - I've got a wall up to match the avi I'm using ;)

Seconded!

And now I'm so ashamed of my dirty dirty mind... And the places it goes around 0:29 into the vid...

A wallpaper - wow, that'd be dangerous. I'd just stare for days at my desktop :)
