A/N: I really really really tried writing Eunhae, it's just I phased out halfway through and it didn't come back to me. This episode is split into two parts, next part with be in Key's POV about his impressions on the kids (: KyuKyu will be here soon. <333 Comments are <3'd. Thanks for reading.
“Hello, this is Little Turnip daycare, Sooyoung speaking, how may I help you?”
“Umm… hello?”
“This is Little Turnip daycare, are you looking for someone?”
“No, I saw an advertisement that you guys are looking for someone to help out, and, and I was…”
“Perfect, when can you come in for an informal meeting, an interview of some sort?” Sooyoung chirped into the phone.
“I’m actually five minutes away. Is it…”
“Yes, definitely. I’ll let my manager speak with you.” Sooyoung put down the phone and screamed out of the room. “YURI-AHH!!”
Three minutes later, a tall, skinny boy walked into the daycare looking confused and frightened. He cautiously opened the door and stepped into the play area, his steps graceful as his light body danced around the little toys scattered on the dark blue carpet.
“Ahh you must be Kibum.” Sooyoung lifted Eunhyuk off the counter. “YURI-AHH!!!”
“Sooyoung, can you please stop yelling all the time.” Yuri grumbled as she finished packing up Sungmin’s lunch box for him. “Sungmin go play with the other kids, Yuri has to do something right now.”
“No.” Sungmin remained seated at the table. “I want Yuri.”
“Well, then you do whatever you want. I’m busy.”
“Yuri-ah…” Sungmin looked at her with big bubbly eyes.
“Go play with Hyukkie.” Yuri pointed at Eunhyuk who was walking over to their direction. The child look slightly dazed when he wobbled his way over to his friend. She dusted her hands on her apron as she walked over to the older looking boy as they went into the office.
Eunhyuk held out his hand before Sungmin finally gave in and took the his friend's hand.
“I wondah who dat boy is?” Eunhyuk poked Donghae while Donghae was playing with the oversized blocks. Behind them, Shindong and Leeteuk were playing with toy cars, rolling them against the wall and watching them crash into each other. They made all sorts of whizzing and vrooming sounds as they charged them up and sent them flying into the wall.
“Maybwe he be one more kid at Wittle Twurnip.” Donghae giggled before his tower of blocks fell on him, burying his small body. The heaps of brightly coloured blocks made a little mountain on the boy as he wiggled his arms and legs.
“Aish Donghae, he’s way too big to come to Little Twurnip.” Heechul said while he pressed his arms on top of Kangin, supporting his body weight with his head like he was a table. “I think he might be Reywook’s oldah brother.”
Kangin looked up and glared at Heechul before the boy got off him and walked over to join Leeteuk and Shindong.
Ryeowook perked up and looked in their direction upon hearing his name. His attention went back to Sungmin while he and Yesung listened to Sungmin talk about how Yuri doesn’t give him enough attention. The two were merely nodding while they were off doing their own thing; even Sungmin himself knew that Yuri favours him.
“Ahre you even wistening to me?” Sungmin stomped on the floor, scaring Ryeowook while Yesung blinked at him.
“Sungmin, inside voices please.” Seohyun called over while she was putting a band-aid on Donghae’s finger when his tower of blocks crashed on him. Eunhyuk was beside him wincing in pain while Donghae laughed goofily.
“Hae, doesn’t it hwurt?” Eunhyuk looked like he was about to cry. The cut was barely visible when Eunhyuk did the one thing he does most. He began weeping softly.
“Nopie.” Donghae jumped off the couch and wiggled his finger. “All bwetter. Hyukkie why ahre you cwying?”
Donghae walked over and hugged his best friend while the two stumbled around in their embrace, before Donghae (go figure) tripped on a polar bear doll and fell to the floor.
“Ouchieee.” Donghae giggled when he opened his eyes and saw the old boy looking down at him.
