Title: Game Over
Genre: ANGSTT
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Kangsung
“Game over. I’m done with you.” Yesung pulled Kangin aside and told him directly in his face.
I don’t want to be your burden.
“Jongwoon… what is this…” Kangin grabbed his small hands and held them.
I don’t want to hold you back.
“Do you not speak Korean?” Yesung pulled his hands away and slipped them inside his pocket.
You could be doing so much more without me.
“I…” Kangin was obviously lost for words. His mouth was open but no words came out.
“I said game over. We’re done. I lost my feelings for you already.” Yesung leaned against the wall, crossing his feet as he shrugged his shoulders.
You could be even more famous without needing to worry about how I feel just because I’m older.
“Jongwoon… why…” Kangin’s voice was trembling and he looked like he was about to cry.
People tell me I’m stupid.
“What do you mean why; When did you become so dense like Donghae. I don’t like you anymore.” Yesung snapped, his tone of voice hinting his irritation with the younger man.
You would tell me I’m stupid for thinking like this.
“Jongwoon…” Kangin grabbed Yesung’s shoulders before Yesung pushed him away.
But I can’t help but think about the truth.
“There’s no point continuing this relationship, and now I won’t be in your way of being with Teukie hyung.” Yesung said coldly as he shrugged away from Kangin’s embrace.
Sometimes, the truth hurts.
“Jongwoon did I do something wrong, was it because I made fun of you on stage…” Kangin began crying, his sobbing silent as tears welled in his eyes, “or… or… I was touching Minnie and Teukie… I’ll stop it, I promise.”
Sometimes, we need to wake up from fantasy and go back into reality.
“Too late. Game over Kangin.” Yesung made his point again as he snapped his fingers, stabbing his words straight to his lover’s heart. Yesung himself felt disgusted at his words, but things have to be done.
Sometimes, you have to learn how to let go.
“Jongwoon… please.” Kangin forced a hug as he wrapped his arms around Yesung’s smaller body, preventing him from moving as Kangin kissed his neck.
Other times, you force yourself to let go.
For a split second, when Kangin’s lips touched his sensitive skin, Yesung savoured his touch. His warm fingers leaving a mark on his neck, his equally warm lips kissing Yesung ever so tenderly. Each touch made Yesung remember those countless memories they had made together at night. Yesung struggled to keep himself from moaning before he turned around and slapped Kangin, hard, on the cheek.
Sometimes things aren’t that bad once you let go.
The crisp sound of flesh on flesh echoed inside the hallway as Kangin looked at him with tears streaming down his eyes.
Because there is no other way.
“I don’t want this to ruin our friendship…” Yesung said coldly as he walked away quickly, tears already rolling down his cheek. He couldn’t let his Youngwoon see him cry. He didn’t pull that whole fiasco just to have it reduced to nothing minutes after his act.
I will still love you no matter what.
Yesung broke into a small jog as he heard Kangin fall to the ground, his erratic sobs loud and sorrowful.
But I don’t want you to love me back.
