it's not just about addiction

i watched trainspotting for the first time this evening. already knew that heroin was never one of those drugs that appealed to me (neither does crack/coke if we're actually discussing this). it kinda made me ashamed to know even a smidgen of what it is to feign for something and not to just crave it, but to not have the self-control to stop myself
