I don't know about anyone else, but I'm more likely to defriend someone for posting too often than not posting enough. If someone's silent, it doesn't affect me beyond possible concern for their welfare, but if they're posting ten times a day, they're cluttering up my flist and probably making me miss important entries from other people.

I completely agree with number 7, though I only realised this yesterday. It's just so weird because it's like I'm talking to something that's... dead.Aand all I'm doing during the conversation is a) trying to find their eyes and b) silently freaking out. Which is distracting. Not having eye contact at all doesn't really work either, so everything just ends up being really awkward...

I generally unfriend more if they don't comment AND don't post in their own LJ, because I'm assuming that they're just not on LJ, period, and even then it takes a while for me to take them off. But I've seen you about in communities, so I know that's not the case. :)
