What a truly unlikeable pair they are, putting little shuttlecocks and pebbles in my show. Nonetheless, it seems we're ready to begin.

[ on side B a small crack in the floor appears and blood starts to seep up from that. Buoyed up in the blood are small little scraps of something. There are eight of them. ]

No personal significance to me. Mr. Muraki tells me they probably each correspond to a person; I don't see why not.

Two of them look similar. Is this our clue?

Much obliged, Mr. Kazutaka.

I imagine each number and color represent a person... ah, please call me Muraki.

Muraki. I'll assume you're right since there's little more room for alternative interpretation at the moment.

They are the colors of the rainbow plus black. In order, even.

The colors at the ends are markedly similar to an undiscerning eye, though. If it weren't for the numerical order, they'd be nearly interchangeable.

That's all I've got. Does the other side have a similar flooding problem--?

I think it is safe to follow the rainbow pattern, it seems to go in line with our host's sense of humor.

Alright. We'll present our findings and...

Let me see to that.

*jiiii*

...should check with the people on the other side.

Doesn't look like there's anything more to be done with these. Assuming the glass is safe to touch, would you be opposed to helping me show this to our unfortunate accomplices?

No, I'm not--we should compare notes anyway. They've probably got something too.

*...since Cherry's handling the gory bits, what does prying at the edge of the crack do?*
