Fine! I'll get him to propose something, and see if it's within my ability to pay it and still function for the rest of the game. If it's not, then I make no deal and everything remains as is--with the possible exception of your friend there getting eaten by tentacles.
I'm trying to get something useful--our teams reunited--by giving up something I can do without if I have to. You, on the other hand, are putting yourself in danger with no return.
