Be careful of hand-reared kittens. They have a tendency to turn into total shit-heads, as they *need* another cat around to teach them manners. Normal cats are bad enough (as a cat owner, I can say this), hand-reared are even worse.

awkward thoughts about "relations"
This made me giggle. All I can say from the shallow end is, don't set your expectations too high, as it *will* be awkward and strange and quite possibly physically dissatisfying. But, it gets easier, less strange and awkward, and better.

I don't often end up using repellent - just being annoyed. But in the even that changes I will be sure to pass it along.

I don't have pictures yet ... I didn't take any the two times we were shown it, and we don't move in until the week before but I will be sure to share then.

Life feels more strange than exciting. I feel like it is just one huge long transition and I don't know if it will ever be different ...
