Prince is Okay. Turns out he's got an enlarged spleen, the vet said probably from an old infection, but that it's okay and he is healthy. I took him home today and got him some stuff at the store and he's been OK, but for some reason he's scared to leave the kitchen. Got a call today at work. Joanne from the rescue that is handling Prince was concerned about the weight that he's lost. She had him X-rayed and they found a mass in his abdomen that may be cancer. He will be getting an ultrasound on Thursday, and a biopsy will likely be necessary next week. He is staying with them for the time being. If it's cancer ( Read more... )

I've been fairly busy lately. I installed the ceiling fan in the kitchen on Saturday and then went to an event for saveadog.org as I am looking to get a dog. I spent time with a few of their dogs and they have several really nice ones but the one I decided to apply for was Zoey. So I wasted a good 4 hours today... like wasted worse than usual. I was changing my sister's springs on her T/A. I was unscrewing the nut at the top of one of her shocks and had an allen wrench on the end (it had an insert for one) to keep the shaft from spinning and the top of the shaft (which had an insert for said allen wrench) just split open ( Read more... )
