The show finished last saturday. It was a major success, everyone who came loved it, it was a near sell out every night. Since saturday I have had a feeling of emptiness, loneliness and sometimes just sheer depression. It's almost like I'm mourning for my friends, the friends I became so close to whilst rehearsing and then performing. I feel lost,

I know just how you feel - having been in a couple of school plays (I was the gay character in 'Taste of Honey' - not typecasting at all, no, no, no) and the Wolsey Youth Theatre it was a case of immersing yourself in it all (the rehearsals and all that camaraderie) working up to the intensity of it all for the performances and then...

Nothing.

It goes away in the end. You'll just have to get out there and get yourself another show!!

You're right, of course. I have felt this way before, but the last few things I've done on stage have been plays, so the feeling of togetherness wasn't as intense. I know it'll get easier, hell, we're all meeting up for a party next week!

Thanks, working nights this weekend, but a pint is a must in the near future.

Ahh yes, im still the nasty guy I have always been inside. I shall have world domination under this name, the last one was not working well for me.
