No Exit

The idea is that Hell is other people, so there are three of us all in a room together, forever, no escape, no sleep, having to face each other all the time for eternity. I play a character called Joseph ( Read more... )

Welcome to the wonderful world of the procrastinator :o) I have published a manual entitled 'LJ Surfing for Procrastinators' if you're interested.

Seriously, good luck with the line learning! Sounds like hard work!

Unfortunately I now have to go out in the fog and earn a crust, so I won't be able to distract you further.

Life sucks!

That is a fantastic play, go you for getting such an amazing role. Garcin is probably the wordiest role in that play, you poor devil. I'm sure you will do well, though.

I love the line: "Wait a minute, there's a snag somewhere; something disagreeable. Why, now, should it be disagreeable? ...Ah, I see; it's life without a break."

Oh, now that line has probably been repeated in my head a million times today. I'm really pleased for getting the role (I was asked to do it, I didn't audition, I may add), when I read it I jumped at the chance, but it's so much work, it's killing me!!

Thanks for your support :)

I both envy and don't envy you. I remember playing the gay art student in 'A Taste of Honey.' It wasn't anywhere near as 'tight' as your play but my character and the main one, Jo, (and for shame, I have forgotten the name of mine) shared most of the stage time.

I loved the experience BUT I was terrified at the same time. I miss that sort of adrenalin rush and I miss the almost orgasmic kick of knowing I did it and entertained people.

I don't think I've expressed this very well.
