My smoke scream.

I gave up smoking exactly 13 days ago now, no patches, no silly fake plastic cigarettes (that was a Radiohead song, wasn't it?!), just total will power. I have to say, I can't believe how well I'm doing. The time I spend thinking about having a cigarette is getting less and less. My blood pressure has already gone down as a direct result. Thanks. I have been keeping myself busy, the house has never been so clean! I'm finding I'm getting loads done, things that I've put off in the past. I'm turning negative energy (ie, craving a cigarette) and turning it into positive energy, like washing the dishes, mowing the lawn, trimming the hedge, re-arranging the CD collection. Anything basically, and the results are proving to work out really well.

I really hope I do keep it up, I'm typing this in disbelief that I don't have a cigarette in my mouth right now!

Keep it up and you will be able to keep it up longer, its a fact apparently !!

Well done on your non smoking success, its realy dificult, but well worth it.

I did hear that apparent fact. Although I can assure you I had no problems before, I'm certainly looking forward to the benefits.

It's been over 5 weeks now! Thanks for asking, it's encouragement from friends that really helps and makes it worth while. The smell of smoke can now make me feel quite sick.
