your cats? they do that from time to time to stimulate the hunting experience that's passed down to them from their wild ancestors.

The cats will sometimes just jump up from a nap or from just sitting quietly and rip through the house like they're late for a meeting...only to sit it the middle of the hallway staring at the wall. I've always wondered about it, but just that, 'That's what cats do.'

Romeo will very often sit on the bathroom counter and stare at himself in the mirror. Not with ears back like he's going to attack. Usually he tilts his head as if thinking, 'Damn, I'm pretty. I'd do me.'
