I woke up this morning believing two false things. The first was that my dad had died. The second was that my roommate had bought a gallon of milk to replace the half-gallon I'd finished last night.

I was still groggy, but I immediately knew how absurd that sounded. Joel buying groceries? I checked the fridge--just as I'd suspected ( Read more... )

Well, I've read in the ever-so-scientific "Dream Dictionaries" that 'death' only means 'transition' in your dreams.

I think we go through phases of thinking about our parents' mortality. I know that it's common, at a certain point in childhood, for kids to become very anxious about the risk of their parent(s) dying, because they've suddenly realized it could happen, and what it would mean. It's that point where you begin to grasp that your parents don't necessarily have the power to control everything in the world, nor the power to make things right ( ... )

I wake up believing alot of things but usually that I've already awaken, done my homework and went to class. So my dreams fool me into thinking I'm already awake and thats how I miss classes.

Up
