From what I gather about Daniel, he should acquire trace evidence of satanic freshman life in order to keep his room from looking like it had been meticulously purged of such evidence immediately before arrival, thus heightening suspicions. I'm not saying he needs to leave used syringes all over the place, but perhaps an empty beer bottle tucked away in the corner might, counterintuitively, persuade visitors that he hadn't carefully scooped up and escrowed all the sex toys and baggies of crystal meth the night before.
