Today at work in the band office..

Angela put in a copy project with due date today, but she put it in the DONE category by accident. So we discovered it too late and began frantically working on it. Now we come to the copier--after working with the copier for two quarters now, I've come to realize that it has a personality all its own. Today

Yes, they all have personalities, and rarely are they pleasant. Our current copy machine is a total bitch. It changes settings, jams, prints incorrectly and always manages to screw with me when I'm in the least mood for it. If you walked into the copy room and observed it you would wonder what those black marks on the bottom left are...those would be shoe marks from the many times I have kicked the damn thing. It does help, both my anger and shows the wretch beast who is boss. Still, it continues to mess with me. Little does it know that its days are numbered. Thanks God.

So, I sympathize and agree with you about copying.

As for getting no acknowledgement or respect--that's their bad. You treat the "little people" wrong and you will be punished. What goes around, comes around. Never doubt that! So, remember when you are older, well-respected and adored to be kind to those who really make it all possible!
