HEY, this is Jenny, I met you at Madeline Island... I was the flute player in the York quintet... I just found your lj through a comment you made on Evan Kuhlman's journal. I looked through it a little and from what I can tell, you are a gooood writer and a very interesting person! So, would you mind if I added you to my friends list? It's too bad we didn't have more time at Madeline Island... I think if you do remember me, you may have an image of me that resembles that first awful kind of "friendly" that you described in the entry just previous to this one. I think my underlying shyness causes me to act that way when I fist meet people and I don't think that week was long enough for everyone to realllly get past any first impressions or stereotypes... sad. SO, hopefully you're not terrified that I just found your lj... and I hope to hear from you soon:)
I'm happy you found my journal. I admit I did have to get over the initial shock first--that took about 30 seconds.
I *think* I remember you. Please excuse me, because I'm not too good remembering names and the 20 odd girls there all blur together in my memory. Certainly your face looks familiar to me.
All I ask is that you reserve judgement when you read my entries and keep in mind that what you see here is only a tiny portion--about .032%--of me. I'll also have you know that nobody at MIMC was of the 'bad' type; I was definitely not writing about you, Jenny. And while I agree that 1 week was far too short to get to know everybody, I did make some real, meaningful connections with some of them, mainly those in my quintet. I've been meaning to write an entry about the wonderful people and wonderful music at MIMC--I think I'll do that next.

Again, welcome to my notepad.
