Genius?

Is anyone using it? I like Pandora, I like the idea of something like Pandora using my library, but I don't necessarily like the idea of sending my library information to the Apple store. Is it worth the invasion of privacy?

Oh fergawdssakes, are you afraid Apple will send people to laugh at all your one-hit-wonders?

No, I just don't like the idea of their applications grabbing data off of my laptop and sending it to them. It also seems like a good time to check to see if I have all of the proper digital signatures.

I've played with it once or twice, as unsurprising as that sounds... *shrug* I haven't been looking for anything fancy recently, my playlists have been just fine. I think it's the kind of thing that needs to reach a critical mass before it's really useful.

I don't really see the invasion of privacy, either - my understanding is it doesn't send personally identifiable data up to Apple. I also don't really care if someone knows what music I listen to (for the most part)...

I think I am just getting tired of listening to the same music over and over. I used to listen to *albums* instead of *songs* but iTunes seems to screw that up a bit. I can't even remember the last time I bought an entire instead of a song.
