Learning to drive is a massive pain in the titties, seriously.
I learned to drive whilst doing my A Levels and was really stressed out working hard for them and then this extra stress really did take it out of me. I even burst in to tears in front of my Mam and Dad. Yes people say it is easy and anyone can do it, but it *is* stressful and very difficult. I passed third time but I actually think I am a complete hazard on the road since I rarely practice haha!
My Dad said to me at the time - 'anyone can drive, but not everyone can do what you can do' and there are much more important things to get annoyed with. Even though other people pass first time, in the end it doesn't make them any better at driving and they probably don't have as many other wonderful talents and skills you have Danger.
The money thing does suck though, learning to drive is a well big investment.
