i still check lj every now and again.
my place of work has changed since the last post-i left all children's and now work for a pediatrician's office.
i am much happier, and you can't beat the hours.
i also started volunteering at an animal sanctuary, and love it!
joe and i just celebrated our 3-yr wedding anniversary!

What animal sanctuary? My gf and I are moving back to FL, where she hopes to apply to vet school after gaining residency, and in the mean time she's looking to volunteer at animal sanctuaries, rescues, etc... like she does up here (it's seriously her favorite part of the day).

you can see me on the volunteer page in a red shirt (once you've been there 6 months you can graduate to being a yellow shirt volunteer and clean the poop of bigger cats). for now i recently started cleaning the bobs, lynx, caracals and servals, etc. its a very structured volunteer program.
theres nowhere else in the world i'd rather work for free :)
