When i was in high school i had a huge fucking crush on my best friend and i knew she’d dated girls in the past but i was closeted and technically in a relationship (long distance and straight and basically the equivalent of the Canadian Girlfriend cover) and i was at a sleepover with her and we were literally lying in the dark holding hands and she went “i just really like to kiss people” and this fic woke that EXACT FEELING in my stomach, the nervous hopeful spike of terror and I am amazed by your ability to evoke it so incredibly well
