I think it has something to do with how I spend my time. I have a great time when I go places, like animecat's place, or last night at cos_longing and then I go home to mundania (Xanth people...anyone?

This doesn't really sound like there are two sides to you...rather that you just aren't happy with the more mundane side of your life. That's true for everyone. I think on some level that when everyone is 18 they think that they are going to go out into the world and do something that will make a difference in some way and then 99.9% of these people are let down because they spend their life working and living in mundania.

How do we deal with it? You seem to be doing pretty well with the little bits of time you spend with others like animecat and cos_longing. This sounds to me like a simple case of domestic boredom setting in now that the honeymoon is over. I've seen it happen in nearly every couple I've known who got married. They get bored with the mundane parts of life that they share and they end up spending less and less time together and at home. Most have ended up ( ... )

*hugs* I get that feeling a lot, too. How do you deal with it? Um, I don't really know. You just do. (shrug) Everybody goes through it at some time, I think. Also, I agree that everybody sometimes feels that way about everyday happenings. That's just part of life. It comes and goes. You just have to ride through this part and wait for the next exciting adventure to begin (which I think you're doing pretty well, by the sound of it.) ;)
