I'm planning on watching Heirs eventually, but unlike you I prefer to obsess over only one thing at once, and right now I'm watching Secret, which is awesome. You should definitely check it out if you haven't.
I too am loving Heirs. I have to say that I am having a lot of trouble not shipping Choi Young Do/Cha Eun Sang. I am loving his oh so messed up self and all the drama that it will bring for both of them. *sigh* I have no idea why I always choose the doomed ship. Here I have Kim Tan who is already messed up enough to be all dark and gloomy- but I just have to go for the second male lead. *shakes head*
On another fandom note- I started "Styxx" and am having to remind myself to sleep so I can get to work on time. You were so right about that book. It is already much better than Achero for me. :)
Truth! Also, it really showed a whole different side to Acheron as well- one that I think deep down I already knew...that he was just as much as a jackass as he always claimed Styxx was. Now you can blame him for it- after having all those horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE things happen anyone would be, but I think I didn't like Acheron's book because it just pained him as this ever wonderful, keep your head up, dude- when that so isn't true to what he went through and the fall out for it.
Okay, done rambling. Anyway, great book! Almost done.
Yes, with an upbringing that insane, it's giant bonus points that Ash (and Styxx) are sane, let alone largely good people who occasionally have blind spots (just as I loved that Styxx got so desperate he tried to kill Ash, I don't blame Ash for stuff he did to Styxx or the way he viewed him. That family did its best to fuck them up for life).
Also, Bethany >>>>>>> Tory.
And I do love that Styxx is much more of an actor in the Atlantis section than Ash ever was - Ash, for a variety of very good reasons, was only the passive victim in all the horrible stuff that happened to him, he never could lash out. I don't blame him for it a bit, but it makes for a more satisfying reading to have a Styxx-type situation.
I haven't been this obsessed with a drama for years! Not exactly sure why, but I love it! The introspective vibe of Kim Tan is really resonating with me.
Every Wednesday and Thursday I sit at work counting the hours and as soon as it starts airing, I grab my phone and spend the next hour pretending to go to the bathroom, so I can watch live streaming.
