i figured that going into this RA training would be a nice break from working 8 hours a day on summer staff. but apparently i figured wrong. i guess because i got offered this job at the last minute and had no idea what i was getting myself into? this is a demanding job, not quite so much physically, but in every other aspect. i work more and sleep ( Read more... )

In fourth grade I did one of those rope courses and I was the last person in the class to try it and the whole class was cheering me on as I wailed and gushed aqua in agonizing, gut wrenching, inevitable doom. It was one of my more humiliating experiences. But at the end, they let me jump off of a platform and zoom to the bottom. This I was not afraid of and quite enjoyed. Go figure. I still pretended like I was sick the next day though so that I didn't have to do any more acitvities. A good, fake sick day is chicken soup for maladies of the brain.

Hey sweetheart! I know you hate to let people down, but these things have been going on forever. Sometimes people need to fend for themselves, instead of depending on somebody else all of the time. You'll do fine, and thanks for letting us in again!
