Author's Notes: Table is here. I've never been to London and I only looked online to see what was on Heathrow. Sorry, if I got anything wrong. lol.

I will make a banner in the future, but I'm kinda tapped out Photoshop-wise from school. Doing web-pages can really drain you, as much fun as it is when you're making them.

But I do hope you like it and will leave a reply on what ya thought about it. :D
EDITED 25.02.2007 :  Blond Hair is a kinda sequel, but not apart of the challenge.

Sophie Aimi was in a lazy state of mind as she stared out of the window of the Caffè Nero she was in and thinking about how another year had been added to her life and the only thing she had gotten to celebrate it was a birthday cupcake from her neighbor Jimmie as they both were both getting late for work and she ate on the way to work. Off course her mom had been away and god knows where her dead beat Dad was.

She noticed a young blond girl walk past the cafe and Sophie wished she was that young again, but she saw that the girl looked so sad and lost. She wondered why though because she didn't look like she was poor or injured. She was wearing clothes from where Sophie worked and that was Chanel. So, it was after people had gone through security at Terminal 4 at Heathrow airport. But Chanel was Chanel.

She had been thinking about going after the girl and asking her if she was all right, but then she saw what the time was and she had to hurry back to work. She could not be late back from lunch. Her new boss was a total bitch and had bit her head of this morning when she was just a few minutes too late for work. Could she really help it if she got stuck in traffic?

But Sophie was a bit annoyed, because she had worked there longer than her former boss and knows that damn store like the back of her hand, but still she's not promoted. Maybe her mother had been right about it being a dead end job. And it's no surprise when she's the one who has to close the shop at the end of the day. Just bloody great. She yawned as she walked towards her car. She couldn't wait to get home, eat something yummy and watch some good old telly.

She had been almost to her car (a beat up, old thing) when she saw something from the corner of her eyes. Some sleazy son of a bitch was attacking the blond young girl she had seen earlier that day. Sophie had it up to her throat with these people. Rude, mean aggressive assholes who thought just because they had some money they could do whatever. When she got closer to them she noticed that it was the guy who had come into the store earlier that day when she had just gotten back from her lunch break.

He had been a freaking pain to help. Kept trying to look down her blouse. While he was buying a gift for his wife. She was not going to stand by and let him assault this poor, innocent young girl. So she swung her bag (containing paperback DaVinci Code, bottle of water, large Moleskine day planner and her cell phone) and it hit him in the head. Ouch, that had got to hurt. Knocked out cold with the first attempt. probably because of the repressed anger from the day. Her state of mind was no longer lazy, it was more pissed off.

"Are you all right?" Sophie asked the wide-eyed teenager as the man fell to the ground of the parking lot. She was sitting on her heels and looking up at Sophie, she was picking up her bag and jacket which she had probably dropped when she was attacked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you, ma'm." The girl told her and straightened out her clothes while standing up to her full height. Like Sophie had thought she looked pretty swank in pricey clothes. She was just wondering what she was doing wandering alone when she was obviously not from around here.

"I am Sophie Aimi. What's your name?" Sophie asked the girl, as she offered her hand to her. The girl looked at her hand and then into Sophie's eyes before smiling at her while grabbing her hand and shaking it well. Woah, a bit stronger than she looked.

"Umh, my name is... Riley Nika." The girl told her, as she grinned and looked Sophie over.

"Well, I better call the cops. Do you want to press charges?" Sophie asked her, and the girl, Riley shook her head but she was obviously in shock so Sophie called the cops anyways. At least just so no one would think they attacked him or anything.

---

"I really don't think lying to the cops is a good idea." Sophie told Riley, as they huddled together and whispered to each other so that the police officers wouldn't hear them. That might actually look a tad suspicious but they didn't seem to mind, so they did it anyways.

"Please? I don't know anyone around here and if you leave me with them my family might find me. It would be really bad if that happened." Riley told her, looking Sophie in the eyes and this shiver suddenly ran through Sophie. Not an all together bad feeling, but it had also been slightly creepy.

"Sure. Okay, let's do it. We're step-sisters. Follow my lead." Sophie told Riley, and then they walked to where the cops were standing. She didn't notice the sly smile on Riley's face when Sophie had changed her mind.

"You two are step-sisters? Do you have any proof of this?" He asked them, for a second Sophie panicked because she hadn't thought that out. She just choked for a bit, she had never lied to the cops before.

"Look, I just found out last month that my step-father who I love to death had just up and left his family back here for a new life in the states. I felt that was kind of shitty of him, so I confronted him and told him I wanted to meet my step-sister. I always wanted a sister. He caved and here I am." Riley told the cop, and she even had Sophie believing her for a few moments.

"And who was I to say no to her when she contacted me? I thought it was great that she even cared enough to want to meet me. Then this man attacked her while I was just a little behind. See, I had forgotten my bag at work and I had to go back for it. So, can we just finish the paperwork and get on with our life?" Sophie asked the man. She had always been kind off good at thinking on her feet. Well, except earlier but like she said she had never lied to the cops which had got to be illegal. She didn't even understand why she was doing this for someone she hardly knew but she just knew she had to do it.

"All right, all right. I believe you. Ma'm, do you want to press charges?" He then asks Riley, who I kid you not seemed to be glowing a bit.

"No, I don't. I think the headache he'll get from being knocked in the head by my step-sisters bag is enough." Riley told him and smiled at the man in the back of the police car. He was staring straight ahead and he had been doing so since he had been put in the car.

"Are you sure?" The police officer asked her and Riley only nodded and bit her lower lip.

"All right, if you are sure." He told her, before they move onto the paperwork. There was some, even without her pressing charges. The guy's partner had been a bit skeptical at first but after Riley talked to her a bit more she seemed to buy it and they were let off the hook.

When Riley was all snug and comfy, asleep on Sophie's couch later that night she wondered once again why she had allowed a complete stranger to her place and even lied to the police for someone she had only known the name of. Those were the thoughts in Sophie's mind when she finally fell asleep. Exhausted after a weird day. She slept like a rock and therefore did not notice when Riley peeked into her bedroom.

Her eyes glowed in the dark like a cats, before she moved away from the doorway to Sophie's bedroom and left the flat in the search for food. Riley was starving and this time she decided to go for something weaker than the man at the airport.

It had been stupid to think in her weak state that she could handle such a big piece of meat by herself. But he had smelled so nice and she was practically dying from hunger after her hours on the plane. She probably would have overcome the man if she had not been interrupted but she had to go with the flow. They always had to go with the flow, or risk exposure.

She had only used a little mojo on the woman, Sophie so she wouldn't have to get into all that hassle of getting away from the cops. She really did hate looking 18 sometimes. Really sick of it, but it wasn't without its perks. She felt a smile slide onto her face as she saw a blond curly haired woman stumble out of a cab.

Perfect!

Intoxicated humans were usually very easy pray, a nice little buzz and as a plus, this one was pretty to look at. Yes, Riley tended to be as shallow as hell. Get over it. She walked up to the woman who had just dropped her purse and the contents were all over the sidewalk. Riley bent down and helped her, which earned her a big, bright smile and a look into hazy eyes. She was one hundred percent drunk.

"There you go." Riley told her, smiling her own big, bright smile as she handed her the last item from the ground. The woman accepted it and as soon as she took it, Riley attacked. She pulled the woman into a nearby alley (how clichéd is that, by the way?) and sank her fangs into her neck. Damn, this woman had top notch blood. Off course, maybe it was because of the alcohol in her blood as well.

Riley hoped she wouldn't get a hangover. She hated when that happened. She let the woman go, and watched as the puncture wounds closed up. How she loved the fact that they did that, made things so much easier on all of them. She was just going to leave her there and go back to Sophie's place but the woman looked so damn defenseless that Riley picked up her bag and looked through it for anything that said where she lived.

Ugh, great. She seemed to be Sophie's neighbor. Just what Riley needed. She grabbed the woman, put an arm around her shoulder and dragged her to her door. Then rooted again around in the bag for some keys. She finally found them, on a keychain that had a little stuffed elephant.

She got the door opened, got the woman in and dropped her on the first couch she saw. Grabbed a nearby blanket and threw it over her. Put the bag next to her, on the floor and grabbed the high heeled shoes of her feet. Sometimes she really wished she was a soulless monster, but it wasn't in her, it was really just a myth.

She let herself out and used the keys she had snatched from Sophie to let herself in and plopped down on the couch. She was asleep within minutes. She does not snore. Really, she doesn't.

THE END....
