Ok, I wanted to submit this on dA first, but dA is being stupid!

1. Realistically, yes the neck does look a little too thick.
2. An arm would be ok, but maybe if you just sort of outline the shoulder a little would be fine.
3. Colour is fun.
4. The eye is awesome, the ear is realistic.

1.]Yes. But that can be fixed. And remember, if it's a guy, don't forget the adams apple!!
2.] I don't think it needs an arm. It loox fine like that ^^

1)the neck does look a bit thick, and I think the line is maybe a bit too straight.
2)It's fine without an arm, but the chest/back/shoulder area looks a little off. it kind of looks like he doesn't have a shoulder.. it would probably help to just add another line defining it, and extend it a bit more. and it looks like the chest should be out a bit more, and not so curvy. if that makes sense. :P
3)it'd probably look good just inked, but color'd be cool too. you should use markers if you color it :D
4)the ear looks really good! ears are so weird. the eye looks good too.

oh! well, I guess the face just looks boyish. maybe you could change the hair a bit, make it longer? maybe add more detail to the rest of it, like you did with the bangs/front. maybe if you made the nose shorter... but that would probably mean practically redrawing the whole thing.
and if it's a girl.. i think you should either crop it a bit on the bottom, or add more detail, a few more lines to define things. it looks a little unnatural right now, i think.

K, makes sense. One of the guys over on dA told it me it was because of the chin and lips.
