Yesterday Nev deemed it too hot to do anything outside that required physical activity. (He doesn't do heat well at all). So to stop me from complaining about wasting a lovely day sitting inside at home, we drove around to Eastbourne to have a nosey ( Read more... )

hahaha. Its gotta be better than where i grew up. The weather here would be almost perfect, but there is no beach. I need a beach. the next official move I am contemplating (a few years down the line at this point) will be to Austin, Tx, which, while it looks wonderful for a number of reasons (flat and bikeable, great music scene, hour away from a sea world, close to family) will be much further away from the ocean, and might just push me over the edge.

I'd rather jump ship and run away to a new continent. With a beach ;)

If you'd gone to the Bennett reunion, you could have gone all the way out to Pencarrow. But it was a stink day, so wouldn't have been as nice as this.

Yeah. We saw a sign saying there was a lovely 3 hour walk to Pencarrow.. um... no thanks.

Doggehs would be cool, I'm sure Basil would love a puppy. Zari, well, not so much. (I would be in SO much trouble).

ah, the desert has beauty too.

not just right at this exact moment. :D of course, that might be because i'm sitting inside, jonesing for a beach.
