I am very pleased to announce that my air conditioner lasted throughout the summer and did not die until I had contemplated it's removal this morning for the cooler days that have already settled into place. Don't know how I'm going to be able to sleep without the God-awful racket, it's almost going to be too quiet I'm thinking.

A bucket of Cool Whip, two or three bottles of red wine, all the fruit you can carry, some new toilet filters, a whole bunch of plastic bags, condoms, and a shitload of instant dinners, we need to stock up, just in case we hit something and can't for some reason.
